Peugeot in the Stellantis Family — Why It Simplifies the Repair
A modern Peugeot is built on Stellantis-group platforms shared with Citroën, Opel and Fiat. The same petrol PureTech and diesel BlueHDi, the same components and electronics. For the owner this means parts availability and predictable repair logic: the problems and the schedule are known in advance.
We know this platform across several marques at once, so diagnostics and repair of a Peugeot follow a clear pattern. More on the Stellantis engine details, including the PureTech belt, on the Opel page.
Peugeot Vans — Boxer, Expert, Partner and Their Twins
The commercial line-up is one of our key directions. The key point is that its vans are platform twins of other marques' vehicles, and thanks to that we know them especially well:
| Peugeot | Twins at other marques |
|---|---|
| Boxer | Citroën Jumper, Fiat Ducato |
| Expert | Citroën Jumpy, Opel Vivaro, Toyota Proace, Fiat Scudo |
| Partner | Citroën Berlingo, Opel Combo, Toyota Proace City |
This means their components and weak points are shared, parts are available and the repair is predictable. A lift with an 8-tonne capacity lets us take a loaded or heavy van. For commercial vehicles we carry out scheduled servicing, chassis and brake repairs under load, diesel work, diagnostics, bodywork and respraying. For companies and fleets we can agree on scheduled servicing.
Plug-in Hybrids and Electric — 3008, 508 Hybrid, e-208
Peugeot is actively developing electrification: the 3008 and 508 Hybrid plug-in hybrids, as well as the e-208, e-2008 and e-Expert electric models. A plug-in hybrid combines a petrol engine with a traction battery charged from the mains, while the electric versions run on the battery alone. As a garage with hybrid expertise, we confidently diagnose this part — the battery, the charging system and the power electronics — and also handle brakes, suspension, bodywork and the high-voltage system. If you have a plug-in hybrid or an electric Peugeot, that falls squarely within our field.
PureTech and BlueHDi Engines — What We Watch
Petrol PureTech and diesel BlueHDi are the basis of the modern Peugeot range. On the early PureTech it is important to check the condition of the timing belt that ran in oil and the cleanliness of the oil system. On the BlueHDi diesels we monitor the diesel particulate filter, the EGR and the AdBlue system, especially on short city trips. On older engines we diagnose the chain or belt by the specific engine. The exact picture comes from diagnostics on the specific car. For model specifications and technical data, see the official Peugeot website.
