Land Rover — off-road technology that needs attention
A genuine Land Rover is built for rough terrain, and that kind of use puts more strain than usual on the 4x4 drivetrain, transfer case, axles, suspension, and underbody. After mud or fording, sealing of components matters. At the same time, even owners who never leave the tarmac still have a heavy vehicle with complex suspension — so its condition still needs monitoring.
Air suspension, four-wheel drive, and electronics
Air suspension is a characteristic and important topic for Land Rover. Over time the air springs and compressor wear, leaks develop, and the car sags or holds an uneven ride height. This is repairable, and we diagnose the system and propose a justified scope of work — from a single air spring up to the compressor. The 4x4 system and off-road assist features are tightly tied to electronics, and much of the work after a repair needs adaptation or coding. We run diagnostics with a proper understanding of these systems and follow the repair through to the root cause.
Land Rover plug-in hybrids — Defender P400e, Discovery Sport P300e
Land Rover is electrifying its range: the Defender P400e and Discovery Sport P300e plug-in hybrids combine a petrol engine with a traction battery charged from the mains, plus an electric drive. This is technology built around a battery, power electronics, and a charging system. As a workshop specialising in hybrids, we diagnose and service this side properly, along with the 4x4 system, air suspension, brakes, and bodywork. Ingenium engines and what matters
Land Rovers run on the Ingenium engine family (2.0-litre petrol and diesel), plus larger units on older, bigger models. Without proper maintenance, chain or belt issues can develop, and on diesels, oil dilution and carbon build-up — so timely oil changes with the correct oil type and checking the exhaust system (DPF, EGR) both matter. We check these components and work ahead of problems.
