Omoda — a new Chery brand in the Polish market
Omoda is positioned as a stylish compact crossover and offered in two versions: the petrol Omoda 5, with a turbo engine and automated gearbox, and the fully electric E5. Because the brand is young, two things matter: a workshop that services it with confidence, and a sensible approach to parts, whose network is still forming.
We work confidently with both EVs and conventional cars, so an Omoda isn't a problem for us. We cover the mechanical side and consumables in full, and where the original part is still hard to source, we offer good-quality equivalents and explain the difference.
The petrol Omoda 5 and electric E5 — what matters
On the petrol Omoda 5 with its turbo engine, timely servicing, cooling system condition, and the automated gearbox's behaviour all deserve attention — if the gearbox hesitates or jerks, it's worth getting it diagnosed without delay. On the electric E5, attention shifts to the traction battery, power electronics, and charging system, which we diagnose properly. As with other EVs, the E5's conventional brakes are used rarely because of regenerative braking and tend to seize up, so they need periodic servicing, while the tyres wear faster and need attention to wheel alignment.
